One of my obsessions this year has been the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and today I’m setting out to convince you all to read it (and obsess over it) as well!Continue reading “Reasons to Read the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan”
I’m certain I’ve recommended these books to everyone and their mother on bookstagram, but other than one or two reviews I’ve barely talked about them here. It was fairly easy to make this list, all of these books and authors popped into my head as soon as I decided to do it. (Arguably, it was also easy to do this since I consume the most romance through the fantasy romance subgenre as opposed to just contemporary romance – otherwise, this list would include at least seven other books).Continue reading “Recommending you my favorite romances of 2021! (+ mini-reviews)”
Hi, there, I hope you’re all doing well! Today I’m here to share my favorite fantasy series currently available to watch on Netflix! There are plenty more series that I love, but these are some of the ones that I can always go back to rewatch when I need something that I know I like or that won’t bore me. Trying out new shows only to be very bored after a few episodes is something very tiring for me so, trust me when I say I rewatch more than not…
As I haven’t been all that inspired to write bookish posts, I decided to start sharing more of my love of tv shows and movies with you again! These posts will be in the form of recs or perhaps even reviews sometimes, but I’m aiming for just one post a month at least for now. Hope you enjoy it!
(Also, I’ve elected to put all of these in a random order.)

RELATED: Booktubers I’m Following!
I started watching booktube videos last summer (a bit late to the party I know), but I’m still a bit reticent about watching new booktubers because I’m very *picky* about it. (Voices, taste in books, general attitude, and aesthetic are kinda important…)Continue reading “Booktubers on My Radar Lately”
Today, I’m here to tell you all the reasons why V. E. Schwab’s books are unique, incredible, and definitely worthy of reading if you haven’t had the pleasure yet.
When I first came into contact with this author in 2016, the Shades of Magic trilogy, arguably her most popular books, weren’t all published yet, and naturally neither were a few others and the hype surrounding this author wasn’t quite the same. When an author and their books become popular or hyped, it can also be negative publicity as some readers prefer to stay away from the hype, large fandom bases, and all that can entail.
Still, as a fan, I really want to share my love for this author with you. So, if you haven’t yet read one of her books, or decided to read more of her, please take this post as a strong recommendation to do so!Continue reading “Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Read V.E. Schwab’s Books!!”
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Loved But Never Reviewed and I’ve recently noticed that I never review the contemporary romances I love for some reason so I thought this was a great opportunity to write some mini-reviews and recommend you some of my favorite romances (the majority of which I read this year)!Continue reading “(TTT) Contemporary Romances I Loved // mini-reviews!”
A couple of years ago I finally decided to give middle grade a shot and I was blown away by how much I loved it! But, when I was growing up, I read YA or even Adult Fantasy and I found this type of books profoundly annoying and the few that were translated were not appealing to me at all.Continue reading “Why I Love Reading Middle Grade Fantasy”
Happy Sunday, friends! It’s been a while since I last posted and all I can say is that it’s been rough for me with everything I’ve had to do for uni and motivation hasn’t been around much, but today I’m here to talk about something I adore!Continue reading “Reasons Why You Should Get a Reading Journal!”
Halloween is a day for cozying up on the couch with some popcorn and spooky movies! Although I personally don’t watch that many scary movies, I have a thing for spooky and really creepy TV shows. TV shows have the time to properly deliver a good plot with well-developed characters and of course – lots of spooky moments!
